ThayerMahan (TM) can design, manufacture, and (when desired by our customers) operate systems to collect acoustic and electronic information on the world's oceans. These systems expand coverage for government and industry partners to protect borders, natural resources, and undersea infrastructure and do so at extremely low cost compared to traditional monitoring assets. TM has developed patented autonomous systems that have been successfully tested and demonstrated for the U.S. Departments of Defense (DoD) and Homeland Security (DHS). TM provides expertise in systems integration, acoustics, signal processing and analysis, communications, coding, and electrical/mechanical systems that enable rapidly adapting platforms to meet emerging mission needs. TM has expertise in the planning, execution, and oversight of complex maritime sensing and surveillance operations, and significant experience in gathering, fusing, evaluating, and reporting sensor data from challenging maritime areas of operation.
