Founded in 1964, the Rhode Island Marine Trades Association (RIMTA) represents all aspects of the recreational boating industry in RI. Our Vision – Position Rhode Island as a worldwide leader in the marine industry. Our Mission – Grow the Rhode Island marine industry through advocacy, education and promotion. Our membership includes boat builders, manufacturers, marinas, boatyards, service providers, retailers, wholesalers, educational institutions and other organizations.
